This Week: Weston Peick, Lance Vincent

We were supposed to have AJ Catanzaro on this week’s show, but he cooled guy’d us when we tried to call so we didn’t get our chance to talk with the East 250 Privateer. In all fairness to AJ, it was around 10:30pm eatern time when we called, so he had probably already turned in for the night.

We quickly called our old buddy Weston Peick to see what he was up to. Weston was whipping up some Peppers and Chicken or something along those lines, so we spent about 20 minutes busting his balls about his recent results, asking where to get WP46 gear and trying to setup a date to drink beer and eat 50/50 burgers.

Next up Lance Vincent joined the mayhem. Lance is not new to MXTR, but it has been a while since we’ve talked so we had some catching up to do. Lance gave us some info about his Munn KTM ride as well as some hunting, and fishing tips we can use in the off season.

It’s been a while since we’ve talked with Broc Tickle so we had a lot of catching up to do. We talked about his new team, RCH Racing, his golf game and practicing at Ricky’s among other things. We even brought him up to speed on our Host vs Host pre-season bet we made involving him.

Next up Jimmy DeCotis was back on the show and ready to go. We talked with Jimmy about injury, returning to racing, Harley sponsorships and Evil Knievel… but what really pushed his button was the weak AMA payouts and the expense for a privateer to race the SX Series.

Of course no Tuesday night would be complete unless we called Weston, which we did. This week he was at the grocery store grinding his own blend of coffee, who does that? We accused him of taking out Blose and he fired right back and let us know we have no clue about riding motorcycles… we love us some Weston.

Last, but not at all least, was our “Where’s Weston” call to Weston Peick. This week Weston was not naked, but he did talk about his emotion at Daytona as well as his clutch and engine trouble that ultimately resulted in a DNF.

Unreal show tonight kicked off with Canadian Privateer Cole Thompson. Cole told us all we needed to know about his privateer status as well as his struggles and successes he’s had a an up and coming racer. Cole also talked about his plans for 2013 MX and his move directly from the “B” class to pro racing in 2012.

Travis Preston joined us next to break in our new “Where Are They Now” segment. As expected, Travis was full of character and never short of words as we talked in depth about salaries, memories, battles, mini donkeys, and of course his TravisPrestonMX.com Motocross. School. Truly a piece of MXTR Gold.

Our third guest was the always charismatic Blake Wharton. Blake filled us in on his song writing, his feeling of the Rockstar Team spirit, what can be learned from watching SX and how funny it is to watch a roller-blader take a header. More MXTR Gold.

Finally we made our weekly call to WP46. This week he was not at taco Tuesday, but rather getting in the shower and completely naked. Of course we took the opportunity to ask Weston his grooming style and overall hairiness.

Borky was in-studio this week to fill the shoes of our absent Forehead, and as usual when Borky’s here we kicked off a great show with Velocity 3′s Bobby Kiniry. Bobby talked about his passion for riding Yamaha’s, his tendency for 1st lap crashing, and the potential for bass fishing tournaments to be his go-to career after he’s done with moto.

Next up we had Kyle Partridge. Kyle was a first time guest on MXTR so we had a lot of catching up to do. We talked to Kyle about his tough recovery from foot and back injuries from the 2012 season, his new HONDA he’ll be debuting at Dallas and his RC car racing success he had while recovering last season.

Jason Anderson was back on the show and we talked about his 2013 speed and his loyalty to Rockstar as well as their loyalty to him. We also chatted with Jason about riding/training with Millsaps, riding 450′s for the east rounds and joking with Sipes about running into him on the hot-lap.

This episode got off to a quick start with a short talk about A3 SX and Superbowl then right into talking with Star Racing’s Kyle Cunningham. Kyle was at the normal Tuesday poker night event that we’ve talked about so many times, and he gave us the rundown on who attends as well as who to look out for on the tables. We also talked about his ‘Only Child” position on the West Coast for Star and his solid season he’s having to this point

Somehow our next guest, Valli’s Travis Baker got brought in to the show right in the midst of a discussion about poop. He played right into it and had some ideas of his own how to handle a poop prank, enough said. We dod eventually talk about his new ride at Valli, his recent marriage and his chances of riding 450′s when the series goes east.

This week we got to spend a little extra time with show regular Weston Peick. Weston gave us some insight into the weekly cost of his privateer effort as well as the low-down on his Suzuki and his partnering with Kyle Partridge for the SX Series. He also gave us the info on his deal with ProRide.com, and how anyone who wants to support his race season can go there and make a donation or buy Peick apparel.

Right out of the gate Forehead went on a rant about the ‘Side Show‘ that is Supercross, we did eventually get around to talking about the chaos in Oakland among other things.

Our first guest, Austin Politelli, joined the show to talk about his HRT/Moto Thump/Ti Lube team, what he learned from his 2012 rookie season, his recent results and what he’s currently working on to improve over the next few rounds.

Next up we talked to Malcolm Stewart. This was Malcolm’s first time on MXTR, and he brought the goods. “Mookie” talked about his nickname, his interest in classic cars, his days of messing around with Sorby on Bubba’s World and his JDR/J-Star KTM team… oh, let’s not forget his Ace Frehley Halloween costume.

Our third ‘scheduled’ guest Chris Blose has never let us down when it comes to easy, LOL funny interviews, and he stayed true once again. Chris gave us some valuable insight from a privateer standpoint on the sport, money and what it takes to be competitive. We also got to ask about his run-in with Partridge at PHX SX as well as his Mark Whalberg RockStar Halloween costume and his new graphics company called PHIT Industries. Chris is hoping to make an in-studio appearance in the next few weeks, and we hope he does.

Lastly we called our ol’ buddy Weston Peick, or WP46 as he goes by on Instagram. In his normal unfiltered manner, he gave us some colorful commentary on Vince Friese and the incident between them at Oakland.

After about 20 minutes of talking BBQ and Classic Trucks we eventually managed to talk moto. First we caught up with Geico Honda’s Jimmy DeCotis to see what life as an injured non-racer is like. Jimmy told us he’s been laying tile, hanging out poolside with Robby Marshall and pretty much hating being on the sidelines.
Rockstar Suzuki’s Jason Anderson had an entirely different point of view on his season. Jason has been killing it since we last talked to him, and he gave us the quick tour of his program, his 2012 season (including SX) and what he hopes for the balance of 2012.
Next, and for the first time on MXTalkRadio, we talked with TLD/Lucas Oil’s Jessy Nelson. Jessy is a down to earth kid who is obviously enjoying his current rookie MX series. Jessy gave us the story of how he got hooked up with TLD, how they decided to race the 2012 Nat’s and his speed prior to Hangtown. We also chatted with Jessy about Music, Fishing and Trey Canard among other things.
To wrap-up the show we checked in with Borky to see what the extent of his injury was from the first turn crash at Red Bud. Borky gave us the short story of the time he spent at Canard’s and Durham’s as well as giving us the injury report first hand.

To kick off the show, Borky and Durham talked about injuries, training, having fun and plans for 2012 MX. High energy Preston Mull brought some laughs with his stories about his privateer road trip pitfalls and killing time in a Wall-Mart parking lot with Air Soft guns. Travis ‘Cookie’ Baker called Darryn out about dating Borky’s sister, and Darryn told him to pull a hole shot. Bodybag couldn’t end the show without sharing his slideshow of BBQ meat and wildlife he saw in the local hills… and of course we caught up with Weston Peick who eluded to something brewing for him during the Nats.

First up we’ve got Geico Honda’s Wild Wil Hahn coming on to tell us about his first SX race in over a year. Wil sat out 2011 and his return to racing for 2012 was nothing less than spectacular. Will went out and won his heat race in convincing fashion and probably even surprised himself a little. We’ll chat with Wil about his win, his recovery and his strategy for 2012 among other things.

Our ol’ buddy Broc Tickle will join us next to deliberate about his experience at A1. Broc made history this past weekend by being the first ever Pro Circuit backed rider to compete in the merciless 450 class. Last time we had Broc on he had just been forced out of the 250 class by a AMA rule related to career points and was unsure about 2012, now with A1 behind him and his PC team at his side, we’ll hear what the 2011 SX Lites champ has to say.

Up next #105 Matt Moss joins us for the first time on MXTalkRadio. Moss is the reigning 2011 Australian Motocross and SuperX Champion, and for 2012 he’s riding for the JDR/J-Star/KTM Team racing Supercross and completing a dream he has had since he was a kid. “I am very excited to come to the U.S. and race and I am thankful my team has given me this opportunity,” says Moss. “I have tried several times to come over here and race but I have always ended up hurt before the season started so I am happy I am off to a better start this season.”

Nick’s happy to be where he’s at, has no regrets and is looking forward to another solid year in 2012.

Tonight on MXTalkRadio – Colton Facciotti, Robby Marshall and Broc Tickle

First up, and for the first time on MXTR, we’ve got Blackfoot Racing’s Colt Facciotti joining us to talk about his Southwick experience and the rest of the short AMA series. Colt had a pretty good run during moto one at the ‘Wick, but a 36th in moto two left him just outside the Top10 on the overall for the day.

Next Up we’ve got Southwick local Robby Marshall on to talk about his weekend at the ‘Wick. Much like Facciotti, Marshal had a solid run in moto one but suffered in moto two crushing his opportunity for an overall finish in the Top10. Regardless of his moto two result, Marshall opened some eyes and showed once again that locals rule in the deep sand of MotoX 338.

Last but not least, our buddy from Pro Circuit Kawasaki Broc Tickle will be checking in to talk about his 2011 MX series and what his plans are for 2012. Broc has some big changes to consider for 2012 and maybe he’ll give us some insight on the situation as well as his plans.

In the ever increasing field of energy drinks, there are few products that actually stand out as something that could actually HELP a rider or athlete perform to his/her potential. Well Pro Drive is just that, a product meant to aid athletes in making the most of their efforts on and off the race track. Tonight we’ll talk with Phil Harrison to squeeze out every bit of info we can about Pro Drive and the products they offer.

Next Up we’ll get another chance to chat with the #55 of Tommy Weeck. Tommy made a one-stop effort at Washougal a few weeks back and turned quite a few heads with his 6th place finish in moto one. We’ll see if Tommy has any plans for 2012 yet, and get his opinion on the action that the 2011 motocross has offered.

Finally we’ll get our first opportunity to talk with the likeable and popular Jimmy Albertson. He’s got himself a spot over at Valli Motorsports for the balance of the season aboard Austin Stroupe’s bike and he IS making the most of it. Jimmy hasn’t finished worse than 12th in the last 6 motos, and posted his season best 9th at Washougal just a few weeks back among what is arguably the deepest 450 field we’ve seen in a decade or more.

Also tonight – We’ll also be calling our MXTalkRadio Fantasy Racing weekly winner from Unadilla to let them know they won some swag, plus as usual we’ll be checking in with Weston Peick during our “Where’s Weston” segment.

Tonight on MXTalkRadio – Mike Alessi and 2011 SurferCross

Mike Alessi has been on a shredder as of late, and tonight we’re going to get our chance to ask him about his season. Regardless of how Mike is doing, he’s always a fan favortie as well as a title contender. We’ll ask Mike how he see’s his season going as well as what his plans are going forward. Since it’s Mike’s first time on MXTR, we’ll also spend some time getting to know the #800 and what he’s into off-track.

We spent some time today at Day One of the 2011 Toyota Muscle Milk SurferCross. While we were there we didn’t waste any time collecting the action as well as some on-the-fly video interviews of the event participants. Hang in there as we roll through the day and give you an idea of what it’s like from a first hand perspective.

Last but not least, we’re gonna call Weston Peick for our ‘Where’s Weston’ segment. He asked for it and now he’s getting it.

Tonight on MXTalkRadio – Nick Wey & Weston Peick

Good ol’ Nick Wey came up first to talk about his summer. Entertaining as always, Nick brought us up to speed on racing Trucks, shopping for classic cars and wrecking rental boats.

Next, Weston ‘Big Foot’ Peick talk about his struggles with 2011 Motocross as well as putting us on front street for never having him on the show before. Big Foot may have bit off more than he could chew with that challenge because now we plan to call his ass and roust him on a weekly basis. Who’s in check now Big Foot?

After our guests, we spent some time breaking down RacerX’s Fan Of The Week with some help from Eazy over at BROtocross. Once we were done critiquing FOTW Hotties we moved on to MXTR’s “Things We Found On The Internet” segment, where we covered Idiots on Quads busting their faces, Hillbillies that get big air without shirts or helmets on, and last but not least an amature FMX video submitted by Sean Borkenhagen where some monkey does nothing but crash for 3 minutes straight.

Brayton is back from injury and reasy to take on the deepest field of 450 competitors ever. We’ll talk to JB about his return to 2011 AMA MX as well as his injury and recovery.

Next up we’ve got Alex Martin joining the show and ready to spill the beans about his 2011 MX season so far. We were expecting a killer ride from Alex at Millville (his family owns the track), but he’s already been tearing up the series and it’s only getting better.

Travis ‘Cookie’ Baker was on our show back in December, and we actually caught him while baking cookies with his grandma for the Christmas festivities. Shortly after, Cookie took on the west Lites series with a vengence. Now we’re in outdoor moto and things have been a bit of a roller coaster for the TLD squad rider. we’ll see what he thinks about the series so far as well as what’s to come

Last but not least, we’re gonna call our MXTalkRadio weekly winner from Thunder Valley and wake them out of a deep sleep to let them know they won something. Could be a bust, but who care’s right?

This week on MXTalkRadio we’re doing a special Father’s Day twist. We’re honoring the dads that pour their Blood, Sweat and Tears (or Money, Time and Elbow Grease) into the support, guidance and foundation that has shaped todays racers during their rise to the Pro level.

First up we’ll have Johnny #140 Moore’s dad John on to hear about his experience bringing Johnny through the ranks. He’s coming from a perspective of a guy who’s kid is still on the rise and can only expect things to get better and better in the coming years.

Next we’ll hear from long time Moto dad Tony Alessi. Tony is a been there and done that dad with two boys in the sport and tons of experience behind him already. Tony’s perspective comes from having Mike and Jeff literally reach the highest highs or sport has to offer, so it will be very interesting to hear his stories and history as a moto dad.

Last but certainly not least, our buddy Eric Borkenhagen will be checking in to talk about his participation in putting Sean ‘Borky’ Borkenhagen up in to the Pro’s. Once again, Eric is coming from a been there done that perspective but with a different result than what Tony has had. We’ll hear from Erik in his own words about his expectations, proud moments, struggles and victories.

Tonight on a Special MXTalkRadio – Guest Co-Host Dano Legere, Kyle Cunningham, Kurt Caselli, Gareth Swanepoel and Dean Wilson:

Forehead is out of town on family business this week, so we’ve asked our buddy Dano from DVS to stop in and do the co-hosting for this weeks episode of MXTalkRadio. Dano’s been and in studio guest here at MXTR before, and he’s done his fair share of MC’ing, Hosting, DJ’ing, etc… so we’re positive he’ll fill Forehead’s spot with ease. And, since Forehead is absent, and too far away to screw anything up, we’ve packed the show with four guests that are some of moto’s heaviest hitters.

First up we’ll be joined once again by the #35 of Kyle Cunningham. KC’s been laying it down so far in 2011 AMA MX and we’ll get a chance to talk to him and see what’s making his fire burn these days. Kyle is fresh off a podium finish at Freestone where he went 3-4 and currently sits in 5th OA just 2 points behind Pro Circuits’ Blake Baggett.

Kurt Caselli has earned mad respect from many of the worlds best riders, and tonight he’s going to give us a chance to get to know what it is that makes him such a hero. From WORCS Racing to Hare & Hound, Caselli’s consistency, technique and determination have made him a constant threat and he’s even been referred to as the “The King of Offroad Racing’.

Our 3rd guest of the night Gareth ‘Swannie” Swanepoel just so happens to be the DNA/Shred Stix Yamaha/Star Racing teammate of our first guest Kyle Cunningham. It’s no wonder Swannie’s been tearing the Nats up too since he’s on this BullDozer of a team. Swannie had a rough go in early 2011 and sat out SX with an injury, but he’s back with a vengeance. His 4th place finish at Freestone in Moto 1 just behind teammate Cunningham as well as his 5th in moto 2 in Hangtown has made everyone take notice that he’s back and ready to run with the big dogs.

Last but certainly not least Pro Circuit’s Dean Wilson joins the show again to spread the love. Dean hasn’t had a single moto off the box yet in 2011 MX and is sitting in 1st place OA right in front of his PC teammate Tyla Rattray. We’ll see what Dean is looking forward to this season and maybe even score a couple tips on Fantasy Racing that his mechanic Paul Perebijnos might have let slip.

Tonight on MXTalkRadio – Cole Seely & Darryn Durham:

TLD’s Cole Seely had a spectacular season in 2011 Supercross, and after finishing 2010 AMA Motocross with a podium at Pala, Cole looked like he’d be a contender in the 2011 Outdoor MX Series. With a frustrating 10th OA at Hangtown behind him, we’ll see what Cole expects of himself for the balance of the AMA Season.

Next up we’ve got Eleven Ten Mod’s Darryn Durham. Double D had a strong weekend at Hangtown with a pair of Top 10 finishes with moments as high as 3rd place before a crash took him out of a podium position. Durham will explain his Hangtown ride as well as his prognosis on the 2011 Outdoor Series.

Johnny ‘JMO’ Moore is a rising star on the Moto Scene, He made his first ever main event at Vegas this past weekend and we’re gonna catch up with the youngster and see what that felt like. Johnny has plans to run the entire AMA Nats for 2011, so we’ll also see where he likes to ride and what he’s looking forward to.

Next up, the one and only West Coast Lites Champion Broc Tickle. Broc is a long time friend of the show and we couldn’t be more stoked to see him win the championship after all the hard work we’ve seen him put in. In his own words we’ll hear what it felt like winning the series as well as what went through his head during the final at Vegas.

Last but certainly not least is the rookie sensation #245 of Lance Vincent. LV has been killing it this season in East Lites racing and ended the series with his season best of 7th in Vegas. Lance backed it up with another 7th in the East/West Shootout proving his potential and sending a strong message that he’s ready to rock the 2011 Nats. Speaking of the Nats, Lance will be announcing his 2011 AMA Motocross setup on the show including a completely New Team and Sponsorship setup.

Tommy Weeck, Blake Baggett, Topher Ingalls and MXvsATV Giveaway #8

Another week and another Trio of fresh meat on MXTalkRadio starting off with #55 Tommy Weeck. Tommy brought the energy right out of the gate to open the show talking about every bone in his body telling him to race moto. Tommy went on to chat about getting busted by the BLM for riding where he wasn’t supposed to, as well as how ended up borrowing Nate Adam’s CRF250 to race the 2011 SX Series.

Next, Pro Circuits’ Blake Baggett talked about his up and down series, his team and prepping for the AMA Nats in May. We also talked about the Vegas SX format and HIS bust by the BLM for riding his secret Sand Track and nearly getting his Pro Circuit Race Bike impounded.

Not to be overlooked, Topher Ingalls brought his flavor to MXTR even though it was obvious he was seriously under the weather. Turns out Topher was a pro skater before turning his interests to moto. Now healed from a broken leg suffered at Dodger Stadium, Topher explained how he plans to put his Experts Exchange bike back in the main at Salt Lake and Vegas.

Last but not least, we gave away another MXvsATV ALIVE Prize Package, #8 to be exact. In a strange twist, Topher Ingalls ended up being our winner this week, but you’ll have to listen to hear how that went down.

Dano has already made it clear that he’s got party on his mind, so Borky and the rest of us are just going to try and keep him in-line. It’s been a while since we chatted with BTO Sports’ Michael Byrne, so we’ve got some catching up to do. Dallas was hot and cold for a lot of reasons, but Burner managed to put in a solid ride and get out of TX without incident. We’ll see what Michael’s recovery from injury has been like as well as his take on this exciting 2011 SX series, both as a spectator and a competitor.

Next up we’ve got fan favorite Les Smith back on the show and rapping about his time in the East Coast Lites class. Les has had his own taste of hot and cold putting in some Hot Top10 rides until he hit his near freezing point in Dallas over the weekend when he failed to qualify for the main. We’ll check in Bodybag & Forehead style with Les and see what his take is on the season as it quickly grinds to a halt.

Double D, Darryn Durham made his return to racing this weekend in Jacksonville putting his Eleven 10 Mods Honda well inside the Top10 with a 6th OA. We’re looking forward to hearing from Darryn about his speed, his wreck at Houston and his new gig with the team.
	Taylor Futrell is making his debut appearance on MXTalkRadio tonight, so we’ll have to spend a little time getting to know the semi-rookie. He’s currently sitting 13th in points, and he’s fresh off his first Top10 of the season at Jacksonville. we’ll ask him about his results, as well as his thoughts on his season so far.
Next up we’ve got Cole Seely checking in to chat about his fill-in ride under the Factory Honda tent. Cole was on fire in the West Lites series and has been equally fast on the big 450 in the East. We’ll ask Cole how he got the ride and what he thinks about competing with the best-of-the-best in the deepest sea of talent our sport has seen since the 80′s

For the first time on MXTalkRadio, we’ve got East Coast Lites sensation Justin Barcia from the Factory Connection Geico Honda Team. Justin can fill us in on his season and talk about some of his “more aggressive” moves, then we’ll do what we can to find out about the kid they call “bam bam”.

Since Bodybag & Forehead couldn’t make it to Indy, we’ll be catching up with juggalo extraordinaire Dave Deringer to give us some of the highlights and lowlights of the weekend. We are truly hoping he has some groundbreaking dirt he can shovel on us, but more than likely we’ll just bench race about the weekend and on what’s to come for the season.

Ryan’s results so far have been beyond impressive and we’ll get a chance to talk to him about how he got here and where he’s headed as the series moves forward.

Next up we’ve got SX Lites class contender Blake Wharton. Blake has had a couple weeks off the box but is sure to be a threat in the coming rounds. We’ll chat with the Geico Honda rider about the team, the series and what he thinks it will take to put him into the spotlight as we head to Daytona.

Dan Lamb from MotoXAddicts hasn’t been around long, but even with his short tenure he’s made some big impressions. Dan will fill us in on his new website and the ups and downs of being a moto journalist.

Tuesday on MXTalkRadio – Matt Lemoine and Ryan Sipes

With the much anticipated kick-off of East Coast Lites racing, we thought it would be best to grab a couple of the Title Contenders and have a talk with them after the excitement of Houston SX.

First up, we’ll get Matt Lemoine on the line and find out just what it took to put his MotoExtreme Kawasaki right into the Top10 this weekend with a 9th OA, showing he has the speed he needs to get it done in the upcoming rounds. We haven’t talked to Matt since last year when he was challenging the tough West Coast Lites Series, so tonight we’ll get our chance to have Matt take us through his off season journey right up to the Houston Main Event checkered flag.

Next we’ll get down to business with DNA Shred Stix rider Ryan Sipes. Ryan was surrounded by hype on Saturday after he set the fastest lap in qualifying practice sessions at 49:58, and was an odds on favorite to take a piece of the podium in Houston. Sipes had his sights set on 3rd, but a connection with Wharton late in the race left Sipes on the ground and salvaging 4th in the East Coast SX Series Opener. With obvious speed, and a familiar feeling Yamaha under his rump, we’re sure to see Ryan making another run at the podium in the coming rounds.

As usual, we’ll also be doing some Fantasy Bench Racing and comparing our results from the MXTalkRadio Friends division over at MotoXDream. Houston wasn’t nice to some team managers, and it was VERY nice to others. We’ll break down what held up and what colapsed, as well as making our semi-infamous prank call to our weekly winner from Houston.

Tonight on MXTalkRadio – Justin Brayton, Jimmy Button and Bruce Rutherford

Another Tuesday night and another show packed with awesome guests starting with JGR / Muscle Milk’s Justin Brayton. Justin has been on the verge of a podium finish this year amongst what is likely the most stacked group of talent we’ve seen in two decades. He’s had a couple rough races in this young season, but he rallied back to grab his best finish yet at Anaheim 2 this past weekend. We’ll catch up with Justin and talk to him about his strengths, speed, bike and team. If we’ve got time we might even ask him what he thinks of his new nickname ‘The SituBrayton’.

Next up we’ve got a hero among hero’s, Jimmy Button. Jimmy is about to embark on a bicycle journey from San Diego to Daytona Florida in an effort to raise $1,000,000 for Miles For Miracles, a charity that raises money for spinal cord research. In January 2000, Jimmy was a Factory Yamaha motocross racer, and on January 22nd of that same year Jimmy suffered paralyzing injuries when he crashed during practice at the San Diego SX. He was paralyzed from the neck down, and considered a quadriplegic. After months of rehab, Jimmy was able to regain movement and be one of the very fortunate few that ever recover from these types of injuries. Now, ten years later Jimmy and his trainer Cory are teaming up to raise money for those that were not so fortunate after suffering a spinal cord injury.

Our final guest Bruce Rutherford has been consistently killing it in the ultra-stacked West Coast Lites class in 2011. This 20 year old is what we consider a full-blown privateer with his dad on the wrenches and a nearly stock bike with only simple bolt-on goodies, he’s taken his heart and desire out to the track to do battle with the best there is. We’ll get to know as much as we can about where he came from, who’s helping him and what his plans are for 2011 while we’ve got his full attention and he’s got ours.

Our show tonight is built on the talented privateer contingent we’ve got for 2011. Ti-Lube’s Matt Boni will kick it off when he checks in to chat with us about the first 4 races from his perspective. Matt didn’t exactly start off the season the way he’d have liked to, but after making the main in Oakland he’s got himself running at speed again and carrying momentum in to the upcoming rounds.

Next we’ve got a veteran to the sport and consistent competitor #903 Antonio Balbi. Balbi’s got rockstar status in his home country of Brazil, but he regularly comes to the US because he genuinely likes racing where the competition is the deepest. Balbi’s results are as unwavering and consistent as his dedication to racing in the USA. Tonight we’ll see if we can get a peek at what goes on behind the helmet of Brazil’s favorite motocrosser.

Our final guest tonight is literally the guy behind the camera. Justin from GoPro will be joining us to talk about the new GoPro HD camera and their involvement with 2011 Supercross and the riders.

We’ll finish off the show with some MotoXDream Fantasy Supercross bench racing. Tonight on MXTalkRadio – Ryan Morais, Vince Friese and Nick Paluzzi

Over the last few weeks, our shows have been so packed with guests that we haven’t had time to cover the bench racing and editorial side of 2011 SX the way we normally like to. So, right out of the gate tonight we’re going to handle a few sweet spots from both Phoenix and Dodger Stadium. Our plan is to rap about hot button topics like the apology from Ralph Sheheen to L&M Racing, Pastrana’s blurred Red Bull logo and the article by Daily News Knucklehead Tom Hoffarth hammering Supercross on the “Hallowed Ground” of Dodger Stadium. Aside from that, we’ll do some industry news, bench racing and we’ll give some hints about what we saw during our visit to Rainbow Studios and the new MXvsATV Alive game.

At roughly 7:30, we’ll be calling Rockstar Suzuki’s Ryan Morais and giving him his proper respect for a well earned podium finish this weekend. Morais was a contender in 2010 SX until his season was cut short when he was landed on at one of the early season races. He sat out the balance of 2010 SX but it obviously didn’t hurt his speed as he proved on Saturday night in front of the historical crowd that filled Dodger Stadium

We’ve wanted to talk with our next guest for a long time, and finally we’re making it happen. Moto Concepts rider Vince Friese has often been a topic of conversation on our show as well as off, now we’ll get the straight scoop from the man himself. Vince had a rough go at Dodger Stadium this weekend finishing 3rd in the LCQ, which was as close as you can get, but not quite enough to put him and his Yamaha into the main event. We’ll talk to Vince about his aggressive riding style, his switch to 450’s for 2011 and whether it’s good or bad to go home with the Asterisk LCQ Bonus money. .

Nick Paluzzi is a newcomer on the Supercross scene this year but hasn’t exactly been flying under the radar in the first 3 races. With two Top 10 finishes under his belt, the young rookie finds himself in a tie with his DNA Shred Stix Yamaha team mate Kyle Cunningham for 10th OA in the West Coast Lites Series. We’ll get some of the #72’s background as well as dig into what motivates him these days.

We’re into the 3rd week of our LIVE Video Broadcast and it all seems to be going pretty smooth. We’ve made a few tweaks for this week that will streamline the experience for our listeners, and hopefully simplify things on our end too. But what’s really important is SUPERCROSS, so with that being said, here’s our lineup for tonight…

Right out of the gate we’ll be joined by Moto Concepts rider Kyle Chisolm. Kyle’s been right in there with the best of them, and finished Phoenix 9th in what is probably the most stacked 450 class ever. We’ll rap with Kyle about riding in the stacked 450 class, his team, training and whtever else we can think of along the way.

Next up Bodybag & Forehead will be joined by Ben Evans. Evans is hauling the mail this season and earning HUGE points for those of us playing Fantasy Supercross. We’ll get a chance to see how he’s feeling about his series so far, his surprises from A1 and Phoenix, and his expectations as we head into round 3 of West Coast Lites racing. .

As if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got Jimmy DeCotis checking in to chat about his new ride on Will Hahn’s Geico Powersports Honda. Jimmy was fast as heck last season, and from what we saw at Phoenix he looks to be as fast or faster in 2011. We’ll talk to Jimmy about his team and his strategy for the rest of the short West Coast Lites series.

We’re going to finish off the show with some bench racing and like the nerds that we are, talk about MotoXDream Fantasy Supercross. There’s a very strong possibility we will even be calling our weekly high points winner from the MXTalkRadio Division at MotoXDream.
